Since its establishment, Tycon has been operated under stringent quality assurance system.
It is accredited by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance for ISO9001: 2000, TÜV Rheinland Certification for PED 97/23/EC, AD 2000 - Merkblatt W0 and Det Norske Vertias (DNV).
The dedicated workforce at Tycon has been trained to operate in a TQM environment and culture. They have a mandate to produce the best quality products and to provide superb services to our customers.
ISO Accreditation
In January 1999, Lloyd's Registered Quality Assurance audited Tycon's QA system and credited for ISO9001:2000. It recongnizes tycon's QA system in meeting all requirements under the international standard.
Material Certificates and PED
In December 2002 and September 2001, Tycon Alloy received both TÜV Rheinland Certification AD2000-Merkblatt WO and97/23/EC, which prove the professional standard of its QA system, production and testing facilitites and human resources.
Marines Society Approval
In 2001, 2003 and 2004, Tycon Alloy has been audited and became an approved foundry of leading international shipping registries including Lloyd's Register of Shipping, Det Norske Veritas Bureau Veritas and RINA,Germanischer Lloyd and American Bureau of Shipping, for our manufacturing process, testing facilities and associated procedures.
